SDE 1 – React – Frontend Developer

Job Description :

The Company is India’s first 100% customized In-store Solutions Company that enables manufacturers of consumer packaged goods to gain insight on every conceivable store related issue that affects their product execution and sales. With a footprint in top 35 towns and cities of India, Retail Scan already covers more than 50,000 stores a month across distribution channels.

Responsibilities :

1. Design and implement code using Frontend technologies like ReactJS and React Native.
2. Work closely with Tech Lead to analyse new product features, perform effort estimation and
provide frontend solution suggestions.
3. Reviewing application requirements and user interface designs.
4. Identifying web-based user interactions.
5. Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react
concepts.
6. Troubleshooting interface and debugging application code.
7. Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
8. Identify and fix bottlenecks that may arise from inefficient code and fix software bugs.
9. Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
10. Write detailed technical documentation around the code and Provide inputs for sprint planning,
participate in sprint meetings and retros.

Qualification

MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred

Skills/Abilities:

1. MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
2. Experience of 1+ years in Frontend web and application development
3. Strong problem solving, critical thinking and debugging skills
4. In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
5. Strong knowledge of React tools including React.js, Redux, Webpack
6. Good to have experience of Storybook, Zustand, CI/CD pipeline, branching
strategies.
7. Working experience with browser-based debugging and testing.
8. Willing to learn new frontend technology like Flutter.
9. Excellent communication skills
10. Nice to have Android Native skills (Java, Kotlin and XML)
